State agencies are also partnering with the AIC to develop new technologies
in this area. Adaptive information technologies have particular relevance
for agencies responsible for environmental monitoring, traffic control
and food safety. As end-users of the technologies they provide skills
and knowledge and also opportunities to apply the research in real world
situations.
